Annual General Meeting

This years Annual General meeting will be held on March 27 at 1:15 pm. Included as an agenda item will be the LSCO Board election which will see our membership elect one Board Member as well as a Secretary and Vice-President (all three year terms). If you are interested in any of these positions and are willing to commit time and energy toward helping the LSCO move aheadAnd if you have experience on Not-for-Profit boards, or have a business, financial, fundraising or legal background, please submit your name and contact information as well as a brief bio to Stan Coxson (Chair of the Nomination Committee). The LSCO Board of Directors is a policy Board in that it deals with big picture planning and governance issues while leaving the day-to-day operational issues to management. The LSCO Board members are also active on our Social Committee, Fund Development Committee, Facility Committee, Team Lethbridge and the Southern Alberta Senior Centres Coalition. Participation on the Board is a challenging yet satisfying endeavor. Please give it some thought and throw your name in.
