CARPENTRY

OAK LAZY SUSAN      CLASS is FULL

Build a beautiful oak Lazy Susan in the Wood Shop. Both women and men are welcome.

LEARN TO DRAW           CLASS is FULL

If you want to learn to draw and dont know how to start-start at LSCO.  In this 8 week course, you will be guided through basic techniques taught by Donna Gallant.  Donna is a talent artist and teacher of a variety of art classes.

When:                     Wednesdays, January 11 February 29

Fee:                         $40 members $60 non members

OIL PAINTING 

Beginner and intermediate painters will be sure to learn techniques to take their talent to the next level; regardless of whether they have experience in oil painting or not. Pleaes bring: toilet paper, paper towel, paint pallet, 9x12 box (for transporting we painting).

When:                     Session 1:Tuesdays, January 10 - February 14; Session 2: Tuesdays, February 21 - March 27                                                          

Time:                       12:30 - 3:00 pm

Fee:                         $40/session members $60/session non members (does not include supplies which will be available from the instructor-approximate cost $25 & $5 for DVD which is refundable upon return).

PAPER TOLE

If you have taken the beginner class, you are ready to create additional pieces of art. You will be required to purchase supplies, some of which will be available for purchase at LSCO. Pre-requisite: Beginner Paper Tole.

WATERCOLORS FOR FUN 

Watercolor is a type of painting, that employes colored pigments dissolved in water. The distinguishing characteristic of watercolor painting is tranzparency. The surface of the paper is visible through the thin watercolor pigments, creating an effect distinct from the thick texture of oil painting and other more dense media. Our instructor, Kay will provide you with a supply list.
