Carpentry Class
This session we will be making small high chairs for that special little
one or for a special Christmas Gift. These high chairs can finish up with One
Stroke Painting, in a class to be given in the fall. This one stroke painting
class will be given October 20 and will run every Monday for 4 weeks.

Ceramics
Create beautiful ornaments and treasured keepsakes. Techniques
in cleaning, staining, coating & green ware. There will be a variety
of green ware to choose from. Participants should purchase their own brushes

Needle Work and Such
We have a very fun group of ladies that work on different projects of
their liking. Any kind of needle work, plastic canvass, embroidery, cross
stitch and more, can be done in this class. Also if you would like to learn to
crochet, that can be arranged. Afghan making can be taught in this class for
any one who wants to learn how to make them.

Let’s Do Knitting
This is a fun class all about knitting, doing knitting, exchange of
patterns and helping each other with special projects. Gladys will help you

knitting.

One Stroke Painting
In this One Stroke painting class you will learn free-hand vine and leaf
painting along with the basic flowers, leaves, bugs, and birds. Bring a “surface”
or “cards” you would like to paint on. This is a very nice class to
attend, lots of learning and lots of fun. If you want to take the Carpentry
Class in September to learn to make a small wooden high chair, then you can One
Stroke on the high chair.

Paper Tole
Paper Tole is the art of creating three-dimensional pictures from art
prints. It is the art of taking more than one of the same print, cutting,
shaping, molding, elevating, and making the
three-dimensional picture. Paper tole can be used in
conjunction with other crafts such as rubber stamping, calligraphy, etc... Join the group every week to work on this
delicate and beautiful craft. Please register for beginners on Wednesday
mornings or advanced on Fridays.

Watercolor For Fun
Watercolor is a type of painting that employs colored pigments dissolved
in water.
The distinguishing characteristic of watercolor painting is
transparency. The surface of the paper is visible through the thin watercolor
pigments, creating an effect distinct from the thick texture of oil painting
and other more dense media. Explore the
skills & techniques of watercolor painting, the paints, & brushes - and
you will make an impression with this beautiful medium. Our instructor, Kaye
has wonderful techniques to show you.
